“AMY …boosted my confidence, it strengthened my patience and my ability to work with peers, and it helped me with being more expressive. It provided a tight knit circle of support during many very difficult times. Thanks to AMY, I was able to graduate high school, and I landed my first part time job at Theatre Passe Muraille, where I’ve created many very helpful and important connections that have helped significantly with developing a career in the arts. AMY is a shining example of a program that is in no way similar to other revolving-door programs. Once a participant, a plethora of opportunities continue to be consistently available that I’ve certainly failed to see anywhere else.”- Cassy

“Being around so many artistic women who are just so free, and who are so supportive of other women, and people of colour, and people of all genders and sexualities – it really changed me. I’m way more open minded, way more accepting, and I’ve just learned things that I never even knew before.” – Whitney

“I loved being in the AMY Project because I got to connect with other young people, and make art that is urgent for myself, and for the world.” – Clover

“The AMY Project has been one of the best things I could have done as a female artist in Toronto. AMY Project provided an inclusive space for a level of creativity and self discovery that has opened so many doors for me, as well as a lasting mentorship and a network of brilliant artists.” – Julia

“AMY has taught me how to be more honest with myself and in my work. Our fantastic leadership and fellow participants helped me feel safe and welcomed to take these leaps together. It has made me a braver version of myself.” – Bessie
