Rachel is a producer and administrator with a commitment to working with small scale professional and community arts organizations to help create engaging and transformative cultural experiences. Rachel is interested in finding new ways to invite people into performance, and in helping to create work that asks critical questions about how we relate to one another and to our surroundings. She has worked with many organizations including Teesri Duniya Theatre (Montreal), Harbourfront Centre, The Luminato Festival, Young People’s Theatre, The Toronto Festival of Clowns, Quiptake, Volcano Theatre, and Peggy Baker Dance Projects. Outside of her work with AMY, Rachel works as the Creative Producer for adelheid dance projects, and takes on freelance producing work. Rachel’s training in arts management has primarily been through mentorships and internships, including a mentorship in artistic producing with Aislinn Rose supported by Theatre Ontario’s Professional Theatre Training Program, and a Metcalf Foundation Performing Arts Internship with Peggy Baker Dance Projects and Volcano Theatre, mentored by Meredith Potter.
