Jules Vodarek Hunter is a playwright, stage manager, facilitator, and theatre creator. She is an associate artist with The AMY Project which includes stage management, and assistant coordinating the Community Program. Recent stage management/dramaturgy credits include Cannibal (The Next Stage Theatre Festival), The Cowboy from Flin Flon (Ahuri Theatre), The Ghost Light Anthology (Aberrant Theatre), Talking Treaties (Jumblies Theatre, Assistant SM), Lion Womxn (AMY Project/Summerworks), Category E (Coal Mine Theatre, Apprentice SM), Almeida The Glorious (AMY Project/Summerworks). She has facilitated workshops in playwriting and dramaturgy, meme-making and blackout poetry. In 2018 she was the Outreach Coordinator for the Toronto Fringe Festival and focused on youth programs and outreach. Jules is currently developing her play As Long as Tomatoes Grow, a futuristic sci-fi about queer folks seeking climate justice.
